Almost every student would secretly wish for their summer vacation to last forever. No school, no studies, no teachers and no more of that tiresome socialist-attitude that comes from having to hang around people you despise and/or dislike. Well, guess what? Not me.
Right now, I'm sorta half-wishing I'm back in school like everyone else and having a normal, routine-based life. Free time is awesome and all, but there really IS something as plausible as "too much of a good thing". Seriously. I'm even willing to bear all the homework given on a daily basis. I'd come to school to finish my Science RS every afternoon. Today, whilst passing through the second floor towards Miss's room, I stumbled upon Louis (an odd ex-classmate) infront of the computer lab. He greeted me with his usual shouts of "It's Jeanne!" and ran into the room, still shouting my obvious presence. Next thing I know, I was being ambushed from behind by Myrtle, Kai and Tin on the staircase.
When I say ambush, I mean being glomped on all sides, dragged, and then shoved into the classroom. *shifty eyes*
It was strange, really. I found myself sitting in a room where I haven't been in for several months now, surrounded by my usual gaggle of classmates and a chattering atmosphere which felt very welcoming. My day was punctuated by hanging out with Myrtle, visiting her house and then mine's. I slumped on my bed, lulling around thinking how much I'd miss these people... even when I'm partially greatful for being given a fresh start in life on a distant continent.
