Annyywayy... I've been pretty BORED. Even if I don't have much to blog about, I constantly refrain from breaking my weekly-posts streak.
On Friday, I attended this funeral party in school (Or, to be more precise, my ex-school). It involved staying awake till morning and offering prayers to the deceased. I didn't really wanna go at first, but for the sake of my boredom-induced sanity and due to my respect towards Raymund, I gladly went. I wore this hooded red blouse, jeans and my usual pair of converse. Turns out, red isn't allowed in funerals. "Not unless you wanna be cursed," they said. Crap. I swear, I didn't know!
My mom was the one who advised me to use jeans and Off Lotion. Thanks, mom. :3
Myrtle PM'd me to come to her house and we came to school together. Everyone was at the gym, eating free icecream, fries, spaghetti and juice provided by the Santua family. Turns out they ran out of juice, so Myrt, Kai and I spent a good 30mins undertaking the task of looking for
We walked towards Mrs. Fudge; it was closed. We were gonna walk across the road; the store there was closed, too. I saw an open store in a dark street; smokers stayed there. Myrt offered saliva; we declined. :D In a march of epic failure, we dragged our butts back inside the campus, running into Raymund and his mom who ultimately offered us something to drink cause' we looked so tired. Lovely.
Kai wanted to change clothes since she was still in her PE uniform. I tagged along with them to their house before the church service could begin. The mass began by 8:00pm. The school chapel was cramped with Lizette's relatives. About a dozen students from Washong were invited by Raymund (he attended that school last year). We waited for about an hour, more than twenty students from different schools and colleges sitting out at the stone paths lining the back of the chapel. They actually served food and the three of us ate a bit. We mostly drank coke. Then the twins pop-up, unexpectedly coming to pay their respects aswell.
All of us dropped by the chapel to offer prayers after eating, looking at Lizette's stuff which was displayed at a table to the right. It was a seriously depressing scene. Letters and cards from the time she was hospitalized were hung on a rack next to the coffin. Strangely, they used 'Katol' during the mass instead of incense. Quite understandable, of course.
After a while, our two maids came to bring me home. I said my goodbyes and left the aura of impending gloom.
It takes a great amount of SKILL to trip over flat, stable surfaces - Kai
She took two steps on a track n' field run... and came out two seconds later with this huge bruise and cast. For the win.
