Motorcycles

I'm bored, it's 11PM and I don't think I have anything else to blog about. So, what the hell? I might aswell tell tales of flambouyantly murderous motorcycles~.

On our 3rd trip to Greenbelt, we witnessed a motorcycle accident.
We were at a stoplight intersection. It took a while, but the light finally switched to green. Our car moved ahead and so did the cars behind us. But this motorcycle on the opposite side didn't pull the brakes in time, or was stupid enough to ignore the greenlight.

It took me a split second to realize what I was seeing.
The motorbike crashed into the car BEHIND us, giving me a complete view of the scene since I was seated at the right backseat. Shards of metal and random stuff went flying everywhere. The car that was hit immedietly stopped. The driver, the guy at the front, didn't get up. His leg was pinned-down by the motorcycle and there was a female passenger who slammed her head into the car's side when the whole scene imploded.
She must've landed on her 'fatty deposites' since she was on a sitting position.

I think the guy on the motorcycle died. He wasn't moving. Or was it oil? I dunno. I couldn't really tell. There was also this HUGE dent on that Forde's side. Ehh..... I hope they'll be able to pay for the damages. (O_o)

Day Two

" What has been seen cannot be UN-seen. "

My 2nd day here wasn't very exciting. We drove around again, passing by Glorietta and various other malls like Power Plant. My mom also had to withdraw some cash from the bank sent over by my dad. Now we can buy more snacks~!

Oh gawd, I'm gonna get fat (but it's never happened yet, so maybe I'll just get a major minor sugar rush >:D).

We also went malling. But I didn't have fun.
I had to carry Drey's huge-ass baby bag, armed with milk, bottles, diapers, wipes and his extra clothes. Very fun, right (yep, sarcasm intended)?
We ate at this pizza restaurant, named "California Pizza" or something like that. The food was okay... though they could have left it to toast a lil' bit longer. (>_<) But I have to say the shrimp pasta was awesome.

So, in the end, we just walked around and didn't buy anything. They -- Tita Andrea and Lola Alin -- mostly checked out cosmetic stores. All the while, I kept thinking about sneaking my way to National Bookstore. Which of course didn't happen, seeing as how unfamiliar the place was. And besides... I have lots o' time for that. Heehee. :3

By the time we got back, I was content and tired. I grabbed my 3rd pack of Pocky, then ate dinner with everyone downstairs.

#4 Maria DeLapaz Village

Our morning began like any other. There was no indication whatsoever that we would be leaving our little Iloilo behind, except for two fully-loaded trunks.
A taxi pulls away from Poblador Street Jaro, and begins a journey pointing northeast, bound for the airport.

My bro, mom and I ate some sandwiches at the airport's JD Bakeshop. We then left on the plane by 12:30PM and arrive in Metro Manila by 3:53PM. I hate it when the pressure changes since planes rise well above 25'000 feet. I got dizzy, recieved random jolts of motion sickness and couldn't hear ANYTHING.... which made my earphones useless against the hour-long flight unless I swallowed hard every 5 minutes. (O_o)

On the first day, we basically just drove around the city and stopped by a supermarket named, "Shopwise". I was wearing horrid clothes since I packed all my good ones in the trunk. We picked up baby supplies for my brother and weeks-worth of snacks.

Hmmm.... Did I mention I'm ADDICTED to strawberry Pocky?! \(^0^)/

Reimaining Skills

Been busy this week and my blog got boring because of that.
Eh, but I guess I can't help it. The real world has been calling me...

My trip to Metro Manila will be coming along soon, so I'm going to have a LOT to write about. My RS's remain stagnant. But I'll rant about that in due time. (=_=)

Haitus

Hey, people.

I'm taking a little break from blogger. I dunno when I'll get back on.

I just sorta feel heavy at the moment; need to get my mind off certain things...
shouldn't think about ANYTHING or ANYONE.

Well, good luck to me. (^__^)

Planning

"The fabric of the peacful."

Angelicum (my school) happens to be one of the schools that start-out late. Those days of working hard are coming pretty close.......................

But...
NOT FOR ME.
*giggle snort*

Sure, I still have leftover skills from last year. But, once their done, I'll still have a MONTHS-worth of vacation time. Turns out I could still spend the month of June in my home country. And I'm kinda really, really glad about that.

Okay, here's the situation:

I still have a load of skills to finish. Specifically Science and Math. Oddly enough, I have VERY few skills in Filipino. *dances*
Just about four skills left with English. So, that's Filipino, Science, Math and English....
My mom is actually coming with me to see what we're going to do about those remaining skills. Sir Zin is leaving the school, so that's mainly the reason why my mom has to consult with the school about my RS. While I'm at it, I might aswell ask whether I need to be done with those skills and what would be the outcome if I don't.

So if I really DO have to finish that stuff, I would still have to come back to the school, even when I'm not enrolled as a student and walks in wearing civilian clothes. Crap, right?

We'll leave for Manila, Makati on June 20 regardless. We'll take the medical exam and come back to Iloilo to wait for the results. And IF I still have RS, then I could come back and do them. But I won't be a student at that school.

Does that make sense....? (O_o)

If we pass the exam -- and I'm sure we would -- then we pack our bags and leave. But my mom says the results can take up to a month at most. So then I still have time to carry-on with my plan of going to the mall with everyone for one last time. And during that probable, month-long wait, I won't be going to school.
And it's easy to take note that vacation time in Cali is different compared to here.

Well, that's about it~.

PS: I keep digging my own grave. I NEED to stay away from the computer /slash/ laptop for a while. But if you noticed the date on my blog posts, I didn't last two days. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go bend in a position of failure.

That's poor time-management right there... ._."

Speechless

There was another blackout today. I think it lasted for about 2 hours or so. (=_=)

Anyway, June marks the start of the rainy season. And that's exactly what's been happening. It' been raining alot, mostly during the late afternoone or evenings. Yes, this post is going to be discussing the weather. :P

Well, not really....
I'm just kind of bored again. I hadn't had a chance to get on the computer in DAYS. But I've been busy.

...
I guess this is all I have to say. (O_O);

Blackouts

Have I mentioned that Iloilo seems to be suffering from a strained period of blackouts? No?!

Well, I can't tell you what it's like to enjoy a good game and suddenly *boom*.... electricity implodes and everything goes dark. -twitch-

It's happened over and over again. -twitches some more-
I've actually resorted to going to an internet cafe'... which was SUPPOSED to be fine.

I thought that was generally a good idea. They mainly turn the power off on the residential areas (stupid city funds can't pay enough to keep the flow of electricity going), whilst electricity would still run through commercial places like downtown and the mall. I went to the nearest cafe' I could find.

-stare- Pictures, Images and Photos
" B a s t a r d s."

Yet my moronic sense of forgetfulness took over.
I remembered, too late, that those places tend to be filled with guys. There were absolutely NO other girls in that cafe, besides me.
I spent over an hour being stared at. Every one of them would atleast turn their heads every 10 minutes to look at me and wonder why a girl would be in such a place.

I had my head down the whole time. I was embarrased.
They didn't stop until I showed them my, "Death Stare".

Note-to-self: Never wear pleated skirts and hoodies to an internet cafe.

Childhood Disappointment

PS: This is a REALLY long post. :D

Today, I'm going to rant about a site I barely even care about anymore. I'm going to point out the reasons why I loathe Neopets so much. Sorry to those of you who -- still, probably -- like the site. I just need to remove some of the disdain still apparently existent in my tiny wall of prejudice. And, in case your too blatantly obsessed with the Neopet-ness, I'm here to tell you about the downside of this site.

Neopets:
A highly controversial online game.

Created in 1999, Neopets is a never-ending online game, in which you take care of pets, buy/sell/trade items, earn NP through games/auctions/shops, and chat on the messageboards. It used to be a fun way to kill time, but now the Neopets Team is too obsessed with putting their Neopets brand out there with annoying merchandise and promotions at stores no one in the world knows the locations of. Neopets is dying a slow, painful death because the Neopets Team is too busy sitting in front of their computers all day and night, eating pizza and doughnuts, and randomly freezing people's accounts for no apparent reason. Plus, they don't even put out New Features relevant to the average user anymore.

What used to be a cool pet site, but now sucks (real hard). And here are the top 10 reasons why:

1: Shameless Advertising.
They have 3 advertisements on almost every page.
One on the top, one on the bottom, and one on the side. Advertising things like online dating services, weight loss programs, and phone companies. And those good-for-nothing, sorry-excuse of a staff team even bother to make shitty sponsor items that the site could happily survive without.

The staff is too deep into advertising to care about anyone anymore. The only thing they care about now is making money. Neopets doesnt care about the quality of their site anymore. For example, the McDonalds promotion. Does neopets care that the site cannot handle so many new members? No. As long as Neopets gets their page views, their sponsors will pay them. Soon they will have a premium service, where paying consumers will have the benefit. More avatars, more random events, and so on. So if you want to experience the best of neopets, get your credit cards ready, because the only thing those greedy bastards at neopets care about are Benjamins and Jacksons.

2: Favoritism.
Let's face it! There's only a handful of people TNT (theneopetsteam) actually give a shit about.
Featheralley, Hrobi, Garret_jaxx (sp?), Hubrids_mansion, Jazz_invinceable , and a couple others. These people will not never be iced no matter how many rules they break. And even if they did, their about the only users TNT would bother to thoroughly investigate.

3: Message boards.
The message board used to be cool... like four years ago. Now they suck. Neopets changed the format to look more professional... and screwed everything up. Completely deleting the GC (general chat), which used to be nice. Y'know, before n00bs took over.

4: Glitches and bugs.
Neopets has countless glitches and bug which they will never fix. I myself have lost well over 15 million in items and np's (example: I lost a SOS while taking it off my pet. Plus I've lost large sums of Neopoints countless times while trying to put them into the bank). And neopets never refunds anything you lost during a glitch... unless you're featheralley of course...

5: Cheaters.
Neopets is full of gay-ass cheaters.
They've made it impossible for anyone who doesn't cheat to get on a high score list for a game.

6: They're Hypocrites.
They'll freeze your account if you post pictures of yourself in which you are slightly immodestly dressed. And yet they have faeries with their boobs hanging out all over the site, wearing skirts that sure show alot-o-thigh.
They'll freeze you if you mention any alcoholic beverages, and yet they have them as items on their site! *points to a certain item called "red wine" and many other wines*
Noooo cussing. Or else they'll freeeezeee youuuu.
*points to the old maraqua vid with the pirate swearing.... also points to the faerie who swears* Mmhmmm.

7: Scams.
The site is full of people trying to scam other players. Pretty much the only reason guilds exist anymore is for people to host scams.

8: Lack of original games.
Every effin' game on that site is a ripoff of another game. Not only this, but many of the new games are based on sponsors.

9: Widely understaffed.
They have far too few monitors for the amount of people who use the site. Ever noticed why the 'good' shops always remain empty for hours on end? Cause' the very few staff members won't even bother to restock them ontime. Instead of refilling most shops every few hours, it could take up to a whole DAY.

10: Freezer/Report-happy nazis.
People will report you for ANYTHING on that site. And I mean anything. And regardless to what neopets says, no, they DON'T actually check in on the situation. I've been falsely reported and frozen countless times. If you merely say something like "I don't like Good Charlotte, I prefer Dropkick Murphys." ... someone WILL report you, and if enough twits report for it, you WILL be frozen.

In fact, about 25% of iced accounts are people who done nothing wrong, but the automatic monitors (TNT) also uses loop holes and freeze you. This has been done repeatedly. Eventually, some people make new accounts and that adds on to the counter (The amount of users on the site, frozen and active). The more accounts filling the counter, the more the staff gets paid by sponsors. And they make the matter of using your time on the site to pretty much give money to some lazy bastard; TNT has created a number of "hidden rules" and these rules aren't shown in the Neorules. Even so, these rules are used as an excuse for giving out warnings or freezing people.

And those are the top ten reason why I despise that site.
Though if you still like to play regardless of those reasons, here's the Top Ten tips on how NOT to get iced:

1: Don't have anything on your user look-up
2: Don't talk to ANYONE
3: Don't be in a guild
4: Don't have a pet
5: Don't play any games
6: Don't share a computer with anyone or anything
7: Don't buy anything from any shop
8: Don't log on from ANY other computer
9: Don't leave for 3 years then log back into your account
10: Don't get anything from the money tree.

The End

SweetAznBabie69: Lik omg dis Neopets thing is lik sooooo popular! It has lik over 80 million users!

DeathToNeopets: You realize that out of the 80 million users, about 79,800,000 accounts were rendered inactive due to constant scamming, random freezings, and plain stupidity on part of the users to get themselves frozen?

SweetAznBabie69: But lik Neopets is lik sooooo cool cuz you can get boyfriends on the chat!

DeathToNeopets: Yeah Neopets is great for that if you like fat, unattractive, lifeless, 13-year old nerds who can't step out of their houses for one second.

SweetAznBabie69: I lik how Neopets updates the site with new stuff everyday!

DeathToNeopets: Yeah, I'm so excited about the new plushie they released that costs 9 million NP. Oh yeah, I think that new paint brush color they made looks awesome - what was it called again? Oh yeah, Crap.

SweetAznBabie69: I'm lik sooooo hyped for the new promotion their having at that store! I'm gonna get soooo much stuff from there and enter in all my rare item codes!

DeathToNeopets: They're holding the promotion in South Africa, and all the rare items are pieces of worthless crap which should be thrown at the symbol of cybernetic totalitarianism that has become The Neopets Team.

Inaudible Song

Love Story
By Taylor Swift

We were both young
when I first saw you...

I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air

See the lights
See the party,
the ball gowns
I see you make your way
through the crowd
And say, "Hello."
Little did I know...

That you were Romeo,
you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet!"
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, "Please don't go,"
And I said

"Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say, 'Yes'!"

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while

'Cause you were Romeo,
I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet!"
But you were everything to me
I was begging you, "Please don't go,"
And I said

"Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say 'Yes'!"

"Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say 'Yes'!"

And I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were
ever coming around
My faith in you is fading
When I met you on
the outskirts of town,
And I said

"Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone!
I keep waiting for you but you never come..."
Is this in my head?
I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground
and pulled out a ring

And said, "Marry me Juliet,
You'll never have to be alone!
I love you and
that's all I really know.
I talked to your dad,
go pick out a white dress.
It's a love story, baby just say, 'Yes'!"

'Cause we were both young
when I first saw you...

A rather important song to me~. :3 There's another version from a cover band named, " Coast Right ".

Restarting Highschool

It's been made official that I won't be enrolling to my previous school this year. We'll be leaving for Manila on June 20 (this month) for a health checkup. Something about needles and blood tests.
We'll be spending the whole time at my grandmother-sister's house, situated round' Makati. After that, we come back to Iloilo in order to begin the dreary task of packing our things. To be honest, I can't really believe it's happening... I'm seriously leaving! (O_O)

As I have yet to mention, I still have RS -- aka remaining skills -- left since last year. I finished the previous ones from my first year quite some time ago. Now all I have to do is buy Miss Bambi a new history book to replace the one I lost since that flood. (-_-)
Sir Ruel is being surprisingly merciful. He just gave me a list of essays to do and I'll be submitting them by next week. Atleast I have my mom to help me with that...

The real problem would be Science. I have a shitload of crap to sort out. I'm not even sure I can finish it all. Sir Zin doesn't seem quite happy with me, either. But I think I can atleast finish that achievement test he laid out for me.
Miss Mirv, my English teacher, won't be a problem. I have the LEAST amount of skills to finish with her (and it's ENGLISH, for crying out loud o-o). She gave me a schedule so I could see her from mon-fri next week.

I have no idea what lessons/subjects highschool would cover in the US. That's why I have to finish my skills so that I could go straight to highschool and skip this junior-high stuff. I'm actually hoping to be with kids around MY age, meaning I have to restart highschool from year ONE. Overall, that means I might spent 6 years of highschool, just like elementary.
Wierd... but I guess I won't have to worry about being younger than everybody else.
